R12 MULTIPLE ORGANIZATION OVERVIEW

Description:


  • Supporting any number of organizations, under a single installation, even if they use different Ledgers 
  •  A single application responsibility can now access, process and report on multiple operating units 
  • Perform tasks for multiple operating units without changing responsibilities     
Tasks:
                 1.Enter Payables Invoices 
                 2.View Requisitions
                 3.Perform Collections
                 4.Process Receiving & Drop Shipments
 Benefits:

  • Allows the user to submit requests, enter, view and access data of different operating units without having to switch between responsibilities
  • Enables the faster data entry for different levels of users
  • View information, such as supplier sites and customer sites across multiple OUs

User level preferences:
  • Users can further modify the number of operating units they want to work with 
  • Set default Operating Unit specific to that user

  • Eliminate using System Administrators, users can control their own access
